Strategic Health Partnerships
DASH Foundation believes that strong partnerships are essential for delivering quality, sustainable healthcare services. Through our Health Centre III, we work closely with trusted national and international partners to strengthen service delivery, expand community reach and improve health outcomes in Pager Division and the wider Kitgum District.
These partnerships enhance our technical capacity, support resource mobilisation and ensure our programmes align with national health priorities and global best practices.
TASO Uganda (The AIDS Support Organisation)
DASH Foundation partners with TASO Uganda, one of the country’s leading organisations in HIV prevention, care and support. Through this partnership, our Health Centre III strengthens HIV testing and counselling services, referral systems and community follow-up for clients living with or affected by HIV.
TASO Uganda provides technical guidance, capacity building and linkage to care, helping ensure clients receive timely, confidential and quality HIV-related services. This collaboration plays a key role in improving maternal health and protecting children from HIV-related risks.
Global Fund
Through support linked to the Global Fund, DASH Foundation contributes to national efforts to combat malaria, HIV and other preventable diseases. Global Fund supported interventions strengthen malaria prevention, early diagnosis and treatment for children under five and expectant mothers.
This partnership helps improve access to essential health services, strengthen supply systems and support community-based interventions that reduce disease burden and save lives.
CARE
DASH Foundation works with CARE to strengthen community health systems and promote inclusive, people-centred healthcare. This partnership supports community engagement, health education and behaviour change initiatives that address the root causes of poor health outcomes.
Through collaboration with CARE, the Health Centre III enhances outreach activities, supports vulnerable households and promotes sustainable health practices within the community.
Government of Uganda
The Health Centre III operates in close coordination with the Government of Uganda, including district and municipal health authorities. This partnership ensures compliance with national health policies, standards and reporting requirements.
Working with government structures strengthens integration into the public health system, supports supervision and promotes long-term sustainability of services. It also ensures that community health needs are addressed in line with national development goals.
Partnership Approach
Through these strategic partnerships, DASH Foundation delivers integrated and high-impact health services. Collaboration allows us to share expertise, improve service quality and reach vulnerable populations more effectively.
Our partnership approach is guided by transparency, accountability and shared commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of communities in Kitgum District.
